Microsoft confirms worrying Outlook and Word bug may crash your PC

If your PC keeps crashing every time you try and use Outlook, Word, or OneNote it appears you are not alone. Microsoft has just confirmed that a bug has been discovered that can cause this software to “unexpectedly close”. The issues seem to be plaguing some users after updating to Windows Version 2407 Build 17830.20138 or higher with the crash taking place when typing or doing other authoring tasks such as spell check.
