Horror in Italy as tourist killed when statue fell on her head | World | News

A tourist walking along the narrow streets of the Italian city of Naples with her boyfriend was tragically killed after a statue fell from a balcony and hit her on the head.  Chiara Jaconis, aged 30, was walking with her partner in Via Sant’Anna di Palazzo with CCTV showing her carrying her luggage just hours before she was due to catch a flight home to Padua in the north of the country. Terrifying van fire so hot it melted the road breaks out in UK street | UK | News

A blazing inferno engulfed a van shutting down a busy London street and damaging multiple cars with a fire so hot it “melted the road”. Terrified residents in Kingsway, Enfield, made at least 11 emergency calls to London Fire Brigade around 3.30pm this afternoon (Monday). Vatican says Pope Francis cancels his audiences because of a slight flu-like state days before a new trip. The Pontiff, aged 87, was due  to embark on a trip to Belgium and Luxembourg.
