Felix Schlesinger (1833-1910) was a famous German painter who specialized in showing scenes of everyday family life and children playing in the countryside. He started learning to paint in Hamburg and later studied in Antwerp, Düsseldorf, and Paris. From 1861 to 1863, he worked in Frankfurt before settling in Munich, where he became well-known for his paintings. His artworks often featured children, possibly even his own, in various stages of growing up. Under a new Tory plan, people aged 18 would have to complete either a year in the military or volunteering the the local community. Israeli airstrikes on Rafah have reportedly left 50 people dead and donzes more injured. It comes after Hamas launched rocket attacks towards Tel Aviv. According to Palestinian medics, the airstrike hit the tends of displaced people in the southern Gaza city, reports Sky News. The Israel Defense Forces however said military aircraft struck a “Hamas compound” from which “significant Hamas terrorists were operating”. The Gaza Health Ministry, a Hamas-run organisation, says at least 50 people died in the strikes.
