Sky TV offers a new broadband offer but there’s an better deal

Sky TV has announced that it has launched a new broadband package for customers – but there’s an even better deal you might want to consider.

The broadband and TV specialists now provide a 100mbps broadband package which it was absent for a long time and if you want superfast broadband, you were forced to pay for the more expensive 145mb package.

However, if you have been on the lookout for faster and speedier broadband, you might not want to snap up the 100mb broadband from Sky as it has a much better offer on the table.

At the time of writing, Sky is offering its faster broadband for just £29.50 a month which is almost £10 cheaper a month for faster speeds.

If you do want the slightly slower internet speed, you’ll be paying £38 a month which makes it a no-brainer not to snap up the faster broadband deal.

But if you want to shop around for other packages, you can find out more about the best Sky deals.

The new deal for the 145mb broadband is only for new customers so if you’re an existing Sky customer, you won’t be able to get the deal.

There’s a £0 setup fee and Sky claims you’ll be able to download a movie in less than a minute. You’ll be tied into an 18-month contract.

That’s not the only deal around however. If you have been on the lookout for a new TV package as well, Sky is offering Sky Stream, Netflix and 145mb Ultrafast Broadband for just £17 a month.

Sky Stream means there’s no need for a satellite dish on the outside of your home with everything streamed over a Wi-Fi connection. That means anyone who lives in an apartment building without a communal dish or a rented property will be able to watch Sky TV for the first time …although you will need a halfway decent broadband connection

You’ll also get Netflix included with the package and Sky’s fastest broadband speed so you don’t need to worry about slow internet speeds.

Sky isn’t the only place offering good deals on broadband. PlusNet and Virgin both have limited time offers depending on where you live so it’s worth shopping around for the best deal.
