Inside Rightmove’s most viewed home is a modern five-bed in Glasgow | UK | News

The most viewed home on Rightmove over the past month looks like an £1.4m ‘shed’ – but there’s way more to it than meets the eye.

Tragerhaus is a five-bedroom home in Whitecraigs near Glasgow. It is property site Rightmove’s most viewed home this month.

It has also been shortlisted as one of Scotland’s Homes of the Year and named one of the top 100 homes in Scotland by the Royal Incorporation of Architects.

The home is described as a “unique, noteworthy residence” and a “dynamic landmark contemporary house” in its listing. It is distinctive, with Caithness stone exterior, Siberian larch cladding, and a contemporary dynamic design that makes it a “one-off”.

The “architectural joy” opens to a bright and open reception hall which leads to the self-contained master bedroom, with the bedroom itself on a mezzanine floor with views over the garden.

On the ground floor is a media room. Downstairs is the open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen. This floor has access to the terrace over the garden.

The remaining four bedrooms are at the bottom of the house, protected by and opening onto the gardens, offering views outside. There are also three bathrooms, a study and a sauna.

Outside, the garden is multi-level with patio, decking, grass and beds which overlooks a neighbouring golf course. Out the front, there is a double garage and a large patio for parking.

Tragerhaus in Whitecraigs is on the market with Corum Estate Agents for £1.375million.
