British tourists in Germany have been issued a fresh alert as new updates regarding border controls have been released. The Ministry has announced the temporary reinstatement of border controls at Germany’s land borders with France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Denmark for a six-month period, starting from September 16, 2024. From this date, border checks may occur at all of Germany’s land borders. Meanwhile, controls at the border with Austria will continue until November 11, 2024.
