Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff and Djimon Hounsou star in A Quiet Place: Day One, as the blind but sound-sensitive “Death Angels” land in New York City. Shirley MacLaine’s new film People Not Places is currently under fire from crew members claiming they’re owed around $245,000 (£193,000) after they were sent home two months ago. The production starring the Hollywood and Downton Abbey star has been labelled a “disaster” by one crew member who spoke out this week. “This whole thing is really a disaster,” they told Variety. “This has been insane.” The publication said the controversy around the indie film is “a case study in the desperate state of the business”. Plans for multiple Lord of the Rings movies have been in the works for the last year and it’s about time given over a decade has passed since The Hobbit trilogy.  Aside from the anime Lord of the Rings: War of Rohirrim due this Christmas, fans are hankering for more live-action adventures outside of Prime’s prequel TV series. The hefty replica played on the comical scene in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, where Harry Potter unintentionally casts an inflating charm on his Aunt Marge, causing her to inflate like a balloon and float away. The James Bond legend’s co-star was Pedro Armendáriz, who played Ali Kerim Bey, the head of MI6 Station T in Istanbul. The Mexican actor, who has a substantial role in From Russia With Love with Sean Connery, had sadly been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
