Shoppers have raved about a silk sleep mask that gives them a good night’s sleep claiming they wake up with “less eye bags” – and now the brand has released two new colours. 

The Drowsy Sleep Mask now comes in Summer Coral and Pistachio Green. It’s a cult classic that’s designed to block out the lights while providing a comfortable and restful tuck-in without any disturbance. 

The £69 sleep accessory which can be purchased direct from the brand or via Amazon, is made with 22-momme mulberry silk. It also has fluffy yet lightweight padding in a “wraparound” headband strap to hug the wearer’s face without causing headaches like traditional elasticated masks.

With silk protection, it absorbs less moisture than other fabrics, so it helps keep your skin hydrated and prevents dry or itchy skin. The material also retains less lotion and serum you use before bed.

One shopper said: “I fly a lot for work and usually struggle with sleep because of the noise and the dry air – but the Drowsy mask has made my business travels a pleasure. I don’t wake up with eyebags and folded lines on my forehead anymore.”

Another shared: “Perfect! Soft feeling, no pressure on nose or eyes. I would not have believed that, but I sleep like a baby since wearing it and, we’ve got a heat wave at the moment. Normally I do not want anything on me, but the mask is fine!”

But some disagreed and felt that the “fluffy padding” was too thick for them, with one writing: “Band at back is too bulky and disturbs sleep!”

A second added: “It blocks out the light very well, but it doesn’t stay on through the night. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve got a big head, or if because I have long hair, or if perhaps I toss and turn a lot – but every time I wake up in the night it’s slipped off.”
