Prince Harry recalls famous Diana moment at aviation hall of fame ceremony | Royal | News

“The only thing left to do is… not dance together but fly together.”

The star-studded event in Beverly Hills, California was attended by a host of celebrities, including Jeff Bezos, Morgan Freeman and William Shatner. Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, was not present as she decided to stay at home.

Earlier in the night, the royal was pictured in a selfie with Germany’s Prince Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe, who captioned his post: “Congratulations To HRH Prince Harry for his VERY MUCH DESERVED Living Legends of Aviation Award.”

Chemistry between Travolta, 69, and the Duke was clear throughout the night. At one stage, the Grease star asked Harry “what can you remember about your first flight”, to which Harry replied: “It’s classified.”

This led to laughter from the crowd who were in good spirits throughout the glitzy event.

In being inducted into the hall of fame, Harry follows in the footsteps of Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong.

Living Legends of Aviation was started by non-profit Kiddie Hawk Academy to honour those who have made significant contributions to aerospace and aviation.
