Hi everyone! Today I am going to share wonderful and inspiring paintings by a Genre painter Samuel Uhrdin who was born in 1886 and died on 1964 and hailed from Sweden and born in Siljansnas Dalarna. I loved this painter’s work a lot and found Samuel to be a master of light and shade. Samuel was truly a very inspiring artist. UK tech startup Nothing has announced the Nothing Phone 2a Plus, an Android phone that’s a minor update to the firm’s Phone 2a that launched just four months ago. Banking behemoth HSBC has just revealed its staggering pre-tax profit of 21.6 billion US dollars (£16.8 billion) for the first half of 2024, branding the outcome as “stable” compared to the colossal 21.7 billion US dollars from the previous year’s equivalent period. Greece has taken urgent action as a goat and sheep plague sweeps the country, banning farmers from moving livestock from their land to combat the deadly outbreak. Costas Tsiaras, the minister of agriculture and rural development for the Balkan country has also announced a ban on the commercial slaughter of the animals, as well as moving them throughout the country for reproductive reasons. Anti-tourism protests have swept through Majorca in recent months with locals saying their quality of life is being ruined. Activists say the current tourism model has stretched public services to breaking point, harms natural resources, and makes local access to housing increasingly difficult.
