Russia has built up a massive stockpile of missiles to maintain attacks on Ukraine over winter according to NATO. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told a meeting of foreign ministers this week that the West must not “underestimate Russia.” Stoltenberg said: “Russia has amassed a large missile stockpile ahead of winter, and we see new attempts to strike Ukraine’s power grid and energy infrastructure, trying to leave Ukraine in the dark and cold.” Last winter Russia bombarded Ukraine‘s infrastructure and supply lines with missiles. Elon Musk says an advertising boycott could kill off X in an expletive-ridden rant. Speaking at an event in New York, Musk accused companies that joined an ad boycott of “trying to blackmail” him. At the New York Times’ DealBook Summit, Musk told advertisers avoiding X to “go f***” themselves. Plain-speaking Conersative MP Lee Anderson has offered a simple solution to spiralling immigration by saying the Tories should adopt a cap on numbers. Israel has released 30 Palestinian prisoners in a fifth swap deal with Hamas in return for hostages taken by the terrorist group during their October 7 attack. In Gaza, 12 more hostages were released by Hamas ending almost two months of captivity and despair for worried relatives in Israel and around the world. Israel and Hamas had agreed to extend their ceasefire until today, raising the prospect of further exchanges.
